Intro

Last time post covid when the repo rates were down and there was liquidity in the market, many cryptocurrencies experienced huge price appreciation. Post that to control the inflation, the repo rates were decreased and liquidity was taken back. This along with a few other notorious events brought correction in the crypto market.

With the announcement of the Feds to not increase the rates any further and based on the current unemployment rate, the expectation is that 2025 will experience another bull cycle where money will be pumped back into the market.

This brings an opportunity for retail investors to make a multi-bagger return by taking experimental exposure in cryptos. However, there are a few issues with this.
 

1. The crypto market is flooded with 40,000 tokens most people don't know which crypto tokens to select.
    
2. The risk of selecting one wrong crypto project means risking the principal amount invested.
    

To solve for the above two problems Tale Wallet has come up with a Crypto Basket that you should "Hold for 2025".
 

Strategy

This is our medium risk basket for 2025 where the exposure is divided into 8 tokens in proportion to balance the risk and reward.


30% into Crypto Large Caps

The basket has a distribution of 30% into crypto large-caps i.e. BTC and ETH. This is to reduce the overall risk. BTC and ETH are the two most dominant currencies and while they might just yield a 2x-3x return, they serve as a good hedge when the market tanks.

30% into crypto-mid-caps

The next 30% of the Portfolio is divided into crypto mid-caps like BNB and SOL. These already have a large community on blockchain and a large number of developers working. We expect all those results to pay off in the next bull run and each of these to cross their AllTimeHigh prices.

40% into trustable small-caps

The remaining 40% of the portfolio is divided into 4 crypto small-cap projects, each working on a different value chain and some brand and credibility in the project. This includes KAS, INJ, AAVE, and TONCOIN. This is where the risk is slightly higher but the return expectation on these tokens is also significantly higher.

Rebalancing
